I have D2 And Ive played it a few times ...But Suddenly it doesn't work on my computer...Im so pissed ..It starts to dl then it locks up and shuts down my comp:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

re-install and get a virus scanner or trojan guarder.

Is there such thing as a trojan guarder, wtf is that?

Anyway, reinstall, get Win XP (if you don't already have it)

ya trojan guarder is a running prog that will pick up any trojans you have. It picks em up as u use the program, so if u dont use it, the guarder wont pick it up

I have WinXP and Im startin g to Install Diablo II and suddenly it locks up ect.

Well... I'd bet it has something to do with the condition of the CD. Either it's scratched or something to that effect. If you have another CD or DVD drive, make sure you try the CD in both drives. That fixes most of my problems for some strange reason.

Also, if that doesn't work, what I would try next would be to get a program to copy the CD image to your hard drive and make a virtual drive to mount it on. That would most likely work as well.
