Yes, I agree. Jimi Hendrix is most likely the best guitarist. I mean, who can smoke until their eyes fall out, and then play the guitar ass backwards? Not many!

But there are also some good guitarists, like Carlos santana.

But, jimi is still the greatest.

Heh...I don't know why, but mentioning Vai and Satriani made me think of Gary Hoey. I haven't listened to any of that guy's stuff in years.

I am surprised no one has mentioned Eddie (not our site's eddie :-)) or Bob Marley, they are both incredible.
