What group of people should i choose. I just purchased the game and i am not sure myself. Also, how many months do you think i should buy subscription? I mean is it worth gettign 3 months or so? Is the replay value that high?

I always go for 1month first, so if you get pissed with the game you dont have to splash out for 3months your not going to play, TERRAN REPUBLIC FOREVER :p lol sorry

New Conglomerate. VS has accuracy, TR has speed and lots of bullets, New Cong has power. If you want to run people over in a tank go Vanu. If you want to have a gunner own everything go New Cong. I'm personally anti-TR, as their MAX units were rigged up last I played, and probably still are.

Um... Play on the Emerald server, and be Terran! So you can team up, I'll invite you into clan... and help you out with shit... or if you are another race, I'm willing to help you by letting you kill me over and over so you can get exp, not sure if that works though...

Terran has ground kinda weak though... I don't see how the max units are rigged though... they're actually the underpowered ones, so if you play TR, then switch to another race... you'll be like "Whoa, this is easy"...

Alright, I have a hard time deciding who I want to be. My name on Emerald is StarcraftGhost. I LOVE Vanu armor. But...I find TR weaponry and all the funnest of them all. I DONT like playing NC even though driving a Vanguard is extremely fun. I just deleted my Vanu yesterday to be a TR. TR is fun, but if you seen the screen shots to the new game, Starcraft: Ghost...You'll see that Nova's armor is most similar to Vanu's EVEN if no the same color. But a Ghost, is a TERRAN unit. You get what Im getting here? I dont know what Empire to be in. I wasted over 2 months of subscription (+1 free month), deleting my characters over and over. By now I would have reached BR20 4 times, and CR5 4 times. Please help me on deciding what Empire. Vanu is fun and all...but I always run into *ssholes that thing their lasher shots go through me. In TR, I run into *ssholes that just TK purposely for fun. I can't decide! Someone help me pick a damn Empire...Im currently a TR...Im HIGHLY experienced, and a REALLY REALLY good Sniper.

Stay on tr... and join me in battle... name is EddiePeReZ ... I play daily most of the time. The new patch is out which added the new certification groups + the new transport airvehicle the Lodstar, ALSO! Outfits can now own their own facility... The other races overpower the TR in weaponry, and tech... so if you ever switch to different race you'll notice its easier...

Yeah, lots of people say VS is low. But I played VS and had a easy time. Then I played TR and noticed the real challenge. Thats because, N00Bhammer of the NC is a big power bonus, and gauss is no joke either. VS have a weak pulsar but Lasher is a nice upgrade in damage. People dont get it that TR have no damage bonus. Our cycler medium range weapon is...just a gun that spams out lead. Our Mini Chain Gun, is also a bigger version of the cycler that spams even more lead faster. But we have no damage boost like the other two empires. Our bullets do the same damage on both weapons, just shoot out faster and with worser accuracy =). Still nice know, I like MCGs regardless. But I love Vanu Armor overall.

Yeah, Vanu armor looks awesome... if they made the MCG faster and slower burn out time... Eh... Vanu's lasher is only good indoors, since it has splash damage... I mean, it's so rediculously slow, there once was this guy on top of a hill trying to hit me, I just dodged all the way there and killed him with the ancient handgun thing...

is this game hard? Like i mean does it have tons of godly people that just run around owning everybody else or can an amature have fun too?

Well, this game isn't much of an RPG, it all comes down to your experience with FPS games, and how you react in the middle of 100 vs 100 soldier battles. The game is very fun. When you level up you get Certification Points, and those help you to get certified to use different weapons, armors, vehicles, and air vehicles. Best part about PS. Is that someone who has been playing since the game first came out, is not exactly invincible. He can still lose to someone who started today. (Of course its harder since he probably knows his weaponry, skills, ambush points, strategy and probably better aim). All battle ranks does it gives you more certs for more abilities. More ability just 'assist' you in surviving longer, such as implants to help you aim farther as a sniper or to regenerate your life, or certs to give you vechicles, more weaponry. (For example, if your a grunt with a medium assault weapon, what happens when you come across a Air Vechicle? If you have enough certs, you can grab your grunt gear AND an Anti-Air weapon. So you actually 'survive' longer depending on how well you use your weapons). Game is great overall. Lots of bugs and glitches, but the large battles are hot.

And probably for this X-Mas week, they added Santa Clause hats to everyone :)

NC has some kickass team units. The Vanguard is an extremely good unit, although it does take a bit of co-ordination between the driver and the gunner to work effectively.

VS has some rather powerful hand guns and speedy vehicles. One really cool feature is that some of their tanks drive on top of water. On top of it, it's rather scary to see a Magrider assault, even though a Vanguard is so much better.

TR's armour kicks ass, and if you want some heavy MAX units, go for them. I haven't played them especially much, but from what I've seen, they seem to be fairly slow, but extremely powerful.

NC has an overpower heavy assault gun, the NoobHammer... Most people use teamspeak on planetside for extreme coordination of attacks. VS Magrider is the weakest one, and the only thing that really makes it good, is that you can run over people and it kinda sucks them under you... I like prowler best since you can have two gunners. TR's Anti-Infantry max is unstopable indoors... Pounder Config + Advanced Engineer = god. Do you play Chruser?

Bah, when I started playing, I chose Terran Republic because they look cool.
