Chruser's away message

this is funny

"fo shizzle ma nizzle" is a bastardization of "fo' sheezy mah neezy" which is a bastardization of "for sure mah nigga" which is a bastdardization of "I concur with you whole heartedly my African american brother"

Sovereign 2003-11-25 10:00 PM

He actually has his away msg up. Its a miracle.

!King_Amazon! 2003-11-25 10:09 PM

He has had it up a lot lately.

RaZ 2003-11-25 10:20 PM

D3V 2003-11-25 10:59 PM

I'm suprised how obsessed people can get over an away message, Mine usually says "AFK" or "FUCK OFF"

!King_Amazon! 2003-11-25 11:19 PM

75% of the ones I read are "I am currently away from my computer right now." I dunno why people can't be original.

Demosthenes 2003-11-25 11:24 PM

originality is hard work

-=Rico-GP=- 2003-11-25 11:26 PM

I think that is a default away message. Depending on the client you use, you may never be asked to supply a message. For example, here at work using ICQ2Go, I don't get to choose my away message, and I infact have no clue what it uses for my away message. On the other hand, I seem to recall that with ICQ pro 2001a, I would be prompted with the option to change my message whenever I selected a non-available status.

Mantralord 2003-11-26 01:18 PM

No one ever reads my away messages.

Thanatos 2003-11-26 01:23 PM

Aha, funny. I don't go away, I go offline.

I miss all of the away messages I had before I got my new hard drive. They were very original. I loved them!

Yes, well ICQ has this handy feature that automatically switches you to away after a set number of minutes (10 by default), so that people can know that you are AFK, even if you don't think that the interruption will take long enough to need to log off.
