Attack Speed, Hit Recovery, Block Rate, Cast Rate tables.
In this thread you will find all (hopefully) the IAS/FHR/FBR/FCR tables for all classes.
FPA: Personally I prefer saying FPA over FPS... FPA simply means Frame Per Attack, which works for all characters, while FPS can be misleading, because it could mean Frame per Shot, Frame per Second etc. FHR stands Fast(er) Hit Recovery. Why do I need fast hit recovery? If your character suffers a hit that damages you for more than 1/12 of your (character's) maximum life, it will cause him go into a recovery animation. You want to keep the animation short if that happens. FBR stands for Fast(er) Block Rate. FCR stands for Fast(er) Cast Rate. 10, 5, -10, -60 etc means the Weapon base speed. Those you can find on Arreat Summit. Amazon Assassin Barbarian Druid (Not started) Necromancer (Not started) Paladin (Not started) Sorceress (Currently Working on) If you have any comment, or if you've spotted any mistaken, feel free to PM me. |
Amazon (Tables: Bow/Xbow Normal/Strafe Speed, Spear/Javelin Normal/Jab Attack Speed, Hit Recovery, Block Rate and Cast Rate.)
Here I will list the IAS for Non-Strafe and Strafe speed. 8/2 means 8 FPA Non-Strafe and 2 FPA Strafe. Code:
Bow (Normal/Strafe) Code:
Cross Bow (Normal/Strafe) Code:
Javelins (Throwing) Code:
Javelins (Normal) Code:
Javelins (Jab) Code:
Spears (Normal) Code:
Spears (Jab) Code:
Hit Recovery For an Amazon, the Block Rate, or speed, would change depend on if she's wielding javelins or non-javelins. Code:
Block Rate (Javelin) Code:
Block Rate (Non-Javelin) For Amazons, it affects the speed for casting Slow Missile, Valk., Inner Sight etc. Amazons have the slowest cast rate, but... Not something I'd worry about for an Amazon. Code:
Cast Rate For those who are interested, Dodge/Evade/Avoid all have a 8 frames animation. |
Assassin (Tables: Claw/Dual Claws Normal/Elemental Charge-up Attack Speed, Hit Recovery, Block Rate and Cast Rate.)
Due to the nature of Burst of Speed, and the fact that Assassins Elemental/Normal/Kicks attack both have different speed, I will only post the chart for 7 FPA (Single Claw) and 10 FPA (5 FPA each claw) Dual Claws. Non-Elemental Charge-up, Single Claw. Tiger Strike, CS, etc. Code:
Claw/Shield (Non-Elemental, 7 FPA) Element Charge-up, Single Claw. Fist of Fire, Claw of Thunder etc. Code:
Claw/Shield (Elemental, 7 FPA) Elemental Charge-up, Dual Claws. Code:
Dual Claws (Elemental, 5 FPA) Code:
Initial Kick (DF, DT, 7 FPA) Dragon Talon's Follow-up kicks. Code:
Follow-up Kicks (DT, 2 FPA) Yup, same as Barbarians. Code:
Hit Recovery The Faster Block Rate items will speed up the blocking for Assassins Weapon Block skill. (Weapon Block has the same blocking speed as blocking with a shield.) And yes, it is the same as Amazons that wield Javelin, and Paladins without Holy Shield. Code:
Block Rate Cast Rate It is quite important for Trap Assassins. Code:

Barbarian (Tables: Two-Handed Attack/WhirlWind Speed, One-Hand Attack/WW Speed, Dual Wielding Attack/WW/Frenzy Speed, Throw Speed, Hit Recovery, Block Rate and Cast Rate.)
Normal Attack - Attack, Berserk, Concentrate, Stun, Bash, etc. Two-Handed Swords, wielded with BOTH hands. The fastest you can get wielding a two-handed sword with both hands is 10 FPA. Code:
Two-Handed Attack The fastest you can get wielding a two-handed sword with both hands is 9 FPA. Code:
One-Handed Attack Why would anyone use this? Well, I don't know. More Damage and Style, I suppose? Code:
Two-Handed Attack (Non-Sword) WhirlWind Two-Handed Swords, wielded with BOTH hands. Note: Only WIAS, or Weapon IAS, meaning IAS on the weapon will affect the speed of WW. For instance, 160/60IAS armor has NO effect on WW speed. Code:
Two-Handed WhirlWind (Swords) Code:
One-Handed WhirlWind Code:
Two-Handed WhirlWind (Non-Sword) Frenzy Dual wielding two One-Handed weapons (Sword, Axe, Mace, Dagger, etc) I'm assuming Lv 20 Frenzy on the chart. Code:
Frenzy Hit Recovery. Same as Assassins. Code:
Hit Recovery Block Rate Code:
Block Rate Cast Rate Does it look familiar? Oh yeah...same breakpoints as Sorceress. Code:
Cast Rate |
Druid
|
Necromancer
|
Paladin

Sorceress

Thread re-opened.
Since I want all the tables on the top, so I made all the posts first, and they will be edited later. Titus, the Sorc FCR breakpoints are the same as the Baba, and I've posted the unfinished Barb's tables (just now). If you have any comment, or if you want to request certain things, you may post here. Please be on-topic, though. |
i praise your effort into gathering these tables but i have 3 links that would provide more adequate space instead of scrolling down a long page : /
fhr and fhb: http://www.hut.fi/~tgustafs/hitrecovery.html fcr|fhb|fhr EZIER to READ TABLE:http://namelezz.planetsmilies.com/tables.html ALL IAS speeds: http://diablo2.ingame.de/tips/calcs/...p?lang=english |
I'm going to finish it anyway. I've told people about the weapon speed calculator in the past, but then I've gotten PM from them asking me "What to do?" (Which result in me telling them step by step, they still don't get it, and I had to PM a chart to them.) So that's why I'm posting the tables instead.
P.S. Thanks for posting the Link to Tommi's site though, I lost the link somehow. |
