How the fuck did they manage to squeeze that episode out in three fucking days!? His capture was just announced a few days ago and Trey and Matt already made an episode about it! That is why South Park is better than The Simpsons.

It's an example, douche bag. South Park is better because it is more instantly relevant than The Simpsons. Trey and Matt can have a finished episode of South Park mocking Saddam's capture three days after it happened, while the Simpsons struggles to keep people's attention with more of Homer's wacky antics.

I saw a documentary on South Park vs The Simpsons in VH1, they said it takes 10 months to make a simpsons empisode where it takes a week for South Park....But 3 days? jesus

Simpsons are also going after a much broader audience which includes small children which are not allowed to watch South Park... even though Simpsons has its bad moments.

This isn't a simpsons vs southpark thread...simpsons and southpark both have their own styles...personally i like them both...the creators of both shows are fucking geniuses although i must say trey and matt did pull this 1 up quite quickly and it was fuckin hillarious

of coarse southpark had to put it out as soon as possible, i bet if that episode was released 10 years from now, no one wont even get the joke, only people who KNOWS Saddam.

I cracked up a ton of times during that one... they really owned Goth kids. Plus the playing Peter Gabriel to make Wendy like him made me laugh too.
