Is it good?

Yup, another noob asking how good this shard is. Well anyhow my LBR 3d works nice here and I also like the magick/startup system. No fuzzy stuff. Anyhow I player about 6 free shards already and only one was a little more than 1 month worth of play(no I never got to playing the pay version credit cards are scarse in here)

So my question is...

If I want to be a solitary mage with dark brooding depression living in some godforsaken wastland(like a swamp) is this a good choice? Also I want to become atleast self defendable in less than 2 months of average(1 hour a day) play. Is it possible here? Thanx.

I think you'd enjoy it here. Skill gain is fast, you can gather your own reagents, and most important: North of the Forestia, the main town, is a large swamp with everything from reapers, to drakes, to savages. The savages have a fortress there and players camp the drakes.

You'd fit right in >:]

Yup plenty of wastelands with open spaces to place a abode in the middle of the swamp.

Great! I think I'll like it. I played in the noob area for 4 hours now. Got my skills pretty high. Altough I think some stuff is unbalanced I find this shard much more player friendly than most. (like I can actualy survive with 1 mage and no other char helping him)

What is generaly a "good time" to leave the noob area? I can feel powerfull inside there but from what I know about PKers I could get killed in 2 hits outside. So is there any good indicator?

Well you'll be automatically booted to Forestia after your account is 3 days old so work as much as you can while you're there. GM wrestling and high magery will keep your alive decently in a fight if you know what you're doin'
