Own a cellular phone? And if so why did you or your parents get it for you.

I own one made by motorolla. My parents got it for me when i got my drivers license, i guess as a way to stalk me and check up on me at a whim O_o

I own one, only because I don't have a house phone in my apartment. Its pretty cheap too, and the prices only keep getting lower and lower. They are well worth it, IMHO.

I got rid of it because I couldn't pay my debts and the charge at the same time.

All my friends got cell phones when they got their license...........just a way parents can be in contact at all times now that they can go wherever

I have a cell phone in my house but it isn't mine.My mom got it from her work.She gets the minutes paid for and throughout Ohio it is free.

I own a cellphone. I got it for privacy and for convenience for calling people when I'm away from home (most of the time). I can also read Zelaron on it...

I have a crap one but I dont use it much sinec im at home most of the time. It ran out of minutes and I dont feel the need to buy more.

I own a work provided one. Nothing special, but i's free. My g/f (we live together) has one. We used to have crappy cars, so I said she needed one if hers broke down. Now we have nicer cars, and I'm still paying fr it.. HMmmmm...

I've got one. My parents bought it for me when I paid for my car. In case my car breaks down or anything.

I used to have one, just because trying to use the phone at my old house was a nightmare. Now, my new apartment has all utilities, cable and a phone for about $160 a month. That includes rent. And it's actually a fairly nice place. You can hate me now.
