diablo problem
 

my friend is having a problem running his diablo 2 the problem is that when ever he starts it up you can about half see the first intro movie and you can hear the sound effects but you can also see part of the back ground. and after the first blizzard intro it automatically minimizes. and you cannot un minimize it if you try it just reminimizes it. things that we have tried to fix it are uninstall and reinstall. also i tried changing the parameter to -skiptobnet but it didnt have and effect. any one have this problem or possibly know how to fix it?

Uninstall/Reinstall. Better yet don't reinstall, after all it is a waste of time. 39 days left till end of lent when i can play it again.

you must not have read it because that is one of the things that we have tried.

Oh whoops my bad, i was skimming it and such. Maybe you should email battle.net tech support. Go to www.battle.net.

You can also try this:
1. Change the Direct Draw/Direct3d thing
2. Update your Video Card drivers
3. Update/Reinstall Direct X
4. Try another game like UT or something and see if it works. If it don't then its a Windows or Hardware problem and thats another long list of troubleshooting steps. If it works then you are SOL with D2. Go play another game.

it happens to me sometimes too, just click it to maximize and click a lot really fast, itll keep it loaded, might have to try again if it minis again
