Huzzah! .

Man, only on Game Cube? That's odd, I thought it was a multi-console gaming title? Will it be released on others, just later?

Good thing I have a PS2, XBox, and GameCube. :D

WetWired 2004-03-02 03:09 PM

The answer to that question wasn't clear from the press release, but the initial release is definately GC only.

Tyrannicide 2004-03-02 04:57 PM

GC gets Twin Snake, PS2 gets Snake Eater. Fair enough since ps2's will be better.

Hey I might buy a GameCube just to relive the first story in a nice shiny new coat. That and a poopload of other games. :D

iceman887 2004-03-09 05:58 PM

i heard that this game was just liek the first metal gear solid, except changed a little bit and put on game cube

RoboticSilence 2004-03-09 06:05 PM

It's a remake of the first game, idiot.

quikspy67 2004-03-09 08:20 PM

I'm definately buying this game!

Raziel 2004-03-09 11:19 PM

It's a Gamecube exclusive. Konami didn't develop it, Silicon Knights did, and they're wholly owned by Nintendo. Therefore, a multi-platform release is nigh impossible. I'm picking up my copy tomorrow morning.

Now the best versions of the two of the best games ever made are exclusive to Gamecube. Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid.

quikspy67 2004-03-14 05:25 PM

So how did Silican Knights get permission from the owner of Metal Gear Solid?

Raziel 2004-03-14 11:21 PM

Nintendo and Konami decided that they wanted to release a full remake of the original MGS, but Konami didn't want to have to dedicate very many of their own resources to do it this time, considering that they've got their hands tied with a lot of other projects. So, Nintendo asked SK to take the job, they did, and it was mostly SK staff that worked on the remake.

Now that I've explained it to you, don't you think you probably could have figured that out on your own?

Tyrannicide 2004-03-15 06:08 PM

It must be pretty good, lucky for me i have a PS2 and GC. so i can pick up both games, plus what ever the hell i want besides that.

You have exactly what two new systems I have. I don't have an X box because I don't want one and can't afford one right now.

Tyrannicide 2004-03-24 04:25 PM

i dont care for Xbox let alone Microsoft. I think they should have stuck with pc's cause they were getting enuff money from it newayz.

RoboticSilence 2004-03-24 05:00 PM

The thing about Twin Snakes is that while I'm playing it I want to like it, but the controls for some reason are very awkward to me and I have a hard time getting through even the easy areas.
