Legendary HALO
 

I started the resurrection of HALO a few weeks ago. The resurregence is in anticipation of HALO 2's release, which won't be for a few months at least, I know, but nonetheless.

I went through all boards on Normal, Heroic, and I'm now working on Legendary. Just a few comments, and I wanted some opinions from what you've noticed. As of right now, the hardest part I've encounterd is on Truth and Reconciliation, after getting teleported up into the ship, called "Into the Belly of the Beast." The Elites that have the glowing Blue Sword-like things are a fucking pain in the ass! Not only are they tough, but they kill in one hit, have the yellow armor, which is basically like a double over-shield, are persistent as shit, and keep coming out (I think about 6 come out by the time that part is over) !!!

What other parts have you encountered that you had problems with?

That would be the hardest part IMO too, the first level when you are going upstairs is hard if you try to kill them, other than that I just run right past them

I didn't have any problems till I hit the libary level.((the one were you follow the flying orb thing with the flood on your ass)I can't rember the names)

There are actually only a few parts I had trouble at, the one I mentioned being the most so far. I've never had that much trouble with the flood. They are pretty weak, unless they have a Shotgun or Rocket Launcher. Other than that, they are easy, just persistent.

i allways seem to get atleast 4 on my ass which rockets.. just my luck i guess

This was the hardest part for me too until I learned to be quick. There's a cloak powerup behind one of the objects. Grab that and run around knocking each of those cloaked beasties out with single smacks from any weapon.

IIRC, they have a weak spot on their backs. It's yellow.

I personally flew threw the game on legendary mode...wait till you beat the last level (from my POV THEE hardest lol) but the end movie makes up for it.

"Hold me" arms spread, alien goes into arms, and with very slow hands slide hand down alien's till you reach his arse and then cut to diff sence...I wonder what went on after that :eek: :eek:

I know this isnt solo, but me and my friend ran throught many legandary levels like cake. Only time we died is by killing each other or ourselves lol. We were warmed up tho from playing 14hour lan party of halo lol

Yeah, well Multiplayer is easy for that exact reason. You can kill each other and get life back... :( Yes, I know about the camo, but that only lasts so long. I actually got a lucky board spawn recently while playing that part I was initially talking about. I only had to worry about 3 of those badasses, and it was cake.

We dont kill each other for life, if one dies the other just keeps going, dosent head back to let other spawn. If the other person dies then oh well we try again(which only happend once when I laced my friend with a plasma and he ran back next to me lol).
