Diablo2 Problem
 

I'm posting in the help forum because this may be a technical problem. Well just recently I was playing diablo 2 and after about 15 minutes of play the Comp locked up. Ok, so I figure its lag and it stays frozen for about 5 minutes (its actually LOCKED UP, no alt+f4, ctrl+alt+del, its locked) So I restart the comp, I just figure it was nothing and keep playing. So I start playing again , same problem.

I'm not exactly sure whats wrong with it... I'm Running a D2 Loader , Windows XP , 128 Ram, 64mb agp,

(note: I'm not reinstalling yet because my Cd burner just went dead and I haven't gotten a replacement for it to read CDs) I tried backing up the system to about 3 months ago when all Was well, (didn't fix the problem) so I'm stuck at the moment, can anyone help?

but in all seriousness, make sure you dont have ANY background programs runnig except for what windows needs to function,(go into safe mode to see what these are), after that if it still locks up on you it might be loader doing it to you. :weird:

If you don't know what your talking about , plz don't post crap ... thx but nothx... I've already checked the running programs and there is no problem, I'm just going to reinstall and go from there..............
