Man, it sux having a Network Adapter and dial-up, i've been their. convinced parents to get high speed. never been happier... Then i got HDD.

Tribes: Arial Assault is a good dial-up free game. Shooter game

their is no good game really for dial up. the game gets to laggy. tribes is ur best bet. its what i played when i had dial-up.

Its like 30 dollars more....... How does the PS2 modem hook up? Ethernet? USB?

Tyrannicide 2004-04-13 02:13 PM

it is ethernet or phone cord. it is just like a computer hook up. Except the Broadband and Analog jacks are right beside eachother.

Analog=dial-up
broadband=high speed

I have a high speed phone cord in right now...but it still is only for dial-up ?

Tyrannicide 2004-04-13 02:24 PM

what??? You cant have a ethernet cable for ur dial up.

is the end of the cord wider then a normal phone cord??

KagomJack 2004-04-13 02:27 PM

no, it's the same size, but it allows for faster dial-up

Tyrannicide 2004-04-13 02:43 PM

ok, what do you have, 128kb dial-up?? I know for dial-up they are improving it for the less fortunate.
