you don't need 10 posts, just go to User CP and click on Edit Signature

Hmm, when I try it says that I don't have permission, someone else had also said that you need ten posts for an avatar and sig. Oh well, I'll just have to find out.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too, this is my 10th post, I think, so I'll try right after this... Of course I still need to make my avatar and sig.
