Aight i really wanna get one goin, is anyone down for a non foh, bonemancer, hammerdin, (more on lines of melee but that path can be strayed a bit) and i would want it so that to enter u must throw in a 290, and winner takes all. We will have a designated person to hold the 290s, someone like Voll if hes down. But i think this could be awesome, just think, 15 people enter the tourney, u win.........15x290s!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats an amazing thought.

What if some of us pore ppl don't have 290's or godlies?

what realm and in pvp u should learn how to account for such types and allow any subclass, restricting them only tells me how weak the players that enter will be

Um, i can kill any type of char w/ my pally but if the player is very skilled and has godly equip, lets say a foh pally, idk anyway a melee/zeal pally could kill him w/o gettin lucky, dont get me wrong i got awsome res. but w/ convic how do u counter that ya kno? and a Hammerdin, one hammer and u can easily die, ya kno what im sayin but wtv, its gonna be whats its gonna be.

stacked resists > convition duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. hammers?? dont get hit if u run into a hammer field its ur mistake if hes just hammering away in 1 spot y attack him melee? thats an audacious move if u kno how to pull it off but other than that the odds are heavliy stacked against u its considered suicide(point - dont get hit)

Stacked resists? i kinda tryed that and figured it wouldnt work, so what ur sayin it u have more than ur maxe res, lets say u have 75 all but u have an extra 50, convic would have to take into account ur extra 50?

Yes. It subtracts from TOTAL resistance, not just EFFECTIVE resistance.

Then, you'd need over 150 extra resis to keep your resis high against a good FOH pally, that's where charms and um rune comes handy :)

You would need a grand total of 310% stacked lightning resist (assuming you had done all 3 Anya quests) to have 90% lightning resist in Hell with a capped (-150) Conviction.

in some cases its BM to have stacked resists in priv dueling but the same applies to CM where theres a initial -30 at lvl 1 CM and 5% thereafter so CM basically is a hidden conviction, hence my argument to not restricting common mainline builds
