FFX-2 is sad...
FFX2 was so disaponting for me a person who adors the final fantasy series, and iam sorry to say this but FFX2 sucked...
There accully was a few good things i might add that where cool about the game and some that wernt so hot, like the battle style was very nice and well done, but one of the most stupidest things i noticed right away was that you cannot equip any weapons.... There is just a default weapon for every one... The game flow was also retarded because i never played a Final Fantasy game with missions in it like that, so that also mad it retarded, and how you can go anywhere in Spira when every you want is stuipd cuz there is no ponit at all of doing stupid Sh*t like this... Oh yeah the hole Vegnagun thing was so stupid it wasnt even funny, the looks off him are so gay looking... so i just wanted to say THAT YOU SOOOOOOOO much SQUARE-ENIX for totaly and completely destroying a great game... BURN IN HELL MUTHER F*CKERS!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: |
All the weapons were the same in FFX, too except that you could add abilities to them. The difference is that you use accessories with the abilities because with the class changing, you'd otherwise have too many pieces of equipment to manage. Remember that by the end of FFX, you have an airship dedicated to carting you arround. Wouldn't it kind of not make sense if all the sudden you have to walk everywhere again? The point of doing the missions is to get information about what's going on and/or to affect it. While FFX-2 was certainly different in many respects, I don't think it was a bad game. A lot of questions were left unanswered at the end of FFX, and if you never really cared about it in FFX, I suppose I can see how the parts of FFX-2 dedicated to answering them wouldn't interest you.

The reason you don't equip weapons is because of the mid-battle class changing. Equipping weapons wouldn't make sense (weapon accessories would work, though)
The only real problem I had with the game is that the story wasn't the greatest. It just didn't grip me like most of them do. |
I thought the Battle System was amazing on FFX-2. Everything else was pretty shitty.

I also thought that the extra jobs were pretty sweet compared to FFX
