Whats the longest you've gone without sleep?

48 hours is my 'record'. I havn't really been trying to break it either... I hate sleep depravation.

Almost 4 days. The first 60 hours were kind of accidental. My friend Matt and I were playing Final Fantasy 6 almost the entire time, and we couldn't get ourselves to stop. By the time we hit the 3rd day, we just decided to go for more and tried to stay up as long as possible. It was during the summer, and we had little else to do. By the time I hit the 4th day, I was so completely insane that I couldn't even think straight.

Actually, wait...it was almost three days...I think... honestly, I can't remember. Everything after that first 48 hours is just a blur.

I remember like it was yesterday...

Noon on a Friday till about 10 am tuesday. My best friend and I drank a LOT of Frappucino.

We suffered permanent brain damage from that, I'm sure. So, I guess 94 hours it would be...

We went to bed after we noticed how stupid we were...

!King_Amazon! 2004-06-13 06:24 AM

Prob like 2 hours.

How do you know we aren't asleep right now?

58 hours....work, get pissed off and not go to sleep, work, cut grass,...pass out...

I was going for a record when I was younger. I made it 40 or so hours and my mom caught me riding my bike w/ my friend around 4 am. I had to go to sleep. :(

Eh, back in the day (In like 8th grade during the Summer) me and my best friend at the time tried to see how long we could stay awake for. We didn't even last 40 hours before we passed out for like 15..

During Finals week, if I have a break in days before tests, I will not sleep. Lots of coffee, slerpees, etc. to stay awake, but I've stayed up a little over 2 days during those times. No more than 55 hours or so though.

Friday morning (7:00 a.m.) through "Monday morning" (2:00 a.m.) So... that's... 67 hours. I've done that a few times tho... mostly gaming related.

4 3/4 days, I was trying for a week, till I passed out

Demosthenes 2004-06-13 10:48 AM

Around 3 days.

undeadzombieguy 2004-06-13 11:23 AM

somewhere around 51 hours. We were in egypt and the plane back home flew on 3 am, the night before I couldnt get any sleep because we had alot of things to pack and stuff and when we got home I went out with friends so I didnt get any sleep then either.

60 or so. I don't remember what happened after I took a shower. I just have a faint memory of leaping into bed. Anyway, I find it kind of interesting how time starts to accelerate exponentially after around 20-24 hours of being awake. It's easy to just keep going after that time. When I stay up for an abnormally long amount of time, I start to feel irreparably dehydrated and like I'm in a different world; an unpleasant dream world.

hours 12 22 34 40 tend to be the hardest for me to get by.

Grav 2004-06-13 04:11 PM

I get about 4 hours of sleep average during school days, sometimes I don't sleep. But my record is like.. 2.. days.. maybe 3

Chruser 2004-06-13 05:01 PM

Myth sayeth no sleep for a week *will* render you unconscious no matter the circumstances, or you would die. Anyone care to try?

Jessifer 2004-06-13 05:04 PM

Three days is about my limit. It's easy for me to stay awake as long as I have something to do. Id est, when I had gotten HPatOotP, I didn't bother sleeping or eating (unless I was told to) for three nights. I finished the book in that period, too.
