Dammit all to Hell!!
|
Why didn't they have this when I was 5 minutes from blockbuster? Now it's a fucking 30 minute drive to go there and that's for the birds.

Wha?????????????
|
Wow, I am supremely jealous. What a genius idea!
|
You do reallize that IGN forces it's random advertisement page upon you if this is your first visit today, right?
|
You'd think that'd be against our constitution.
Then again, I'd like to go to that camp :D |
Oh my bad. I like the blockbuster gift card idea better anyway. If you read it it says it also focuses on math and writing and all that shit so fuck it. I could learn about making video games here without having to work on writing and all that stupid shit.
|
Okay, King, maybe you're not fully grasping the entire concept here.
IT'S A VIDEO GAME SUMMER CAMP. Math or no math, I would have killed someone to be able to be a part of this thing when I was a kid. |
Yeah, and they get to learn about other crap like photoshop and other tools to edit pictures videos, etc.
Though, it is ALOT cheaper to get the BlockBuster card for like 50 bucks, where on the other side you'll probably be paying about 1,000 dollars to go to the camp |
I doubt it's as much as $1000 but it's probably close. Raziel, this camp thing sounds a bit silly right now as you can learn the same or more just by trying something out for fucking free on your home computer during the summer.
|
Yes, certainly, I can. A 14 year old kid might have a tougher time with it, though. I never owned a computer until I was 18, so this would have instantly appealed to me when I was that age.
Plus, it's the fact that you're at camp and learning this shit at the same time. You can play foursquare and eat shitty food at home too, so why do parents pay for their kids to go to normal summer camp? Answer: because the kids want to be with a new group of friends and the parents want them out of the house for a week or two. |
