Composite (480p) vs S-video question for GC

Hi all i am a new to these forums and my question is : Composite (480p) - Have you seen any games played in the highest (I believe) supported resoulution for GC? If someone here has seen 480p : what is your opinion? 480p > S-Video ? Or does it break even?
