Metroid Prime console bundle!
Nintendo has announced a new Gamecube console bundle promotion set for shipping on August 15th! The bundle includes the Nintendo Gamecube console, one controller, a copy of Metroid Prime and an exclusive playable demo disc for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes which includes a playable demo of MP2, two exclusive Metroid Prime 2 trailers, the Metroid Chronicle (an interactive history of the entire Metroid franchise) and a Metroid art gallery. The bundle will retail for $99. That's the console, a game and a Metroid Prime 2 bonus disc loaded with extras for only $99. The bundle comes in a special, sweet-ass box, shown here.
If you don't already own a Gamecube, August 15th is the time to pick one up. You're getting the best game on the console in addition to the opportunity to play the sequel to the best game on the console all for free. You'd be insane to pass this up. Long live Metroid! Horns up, motherfuckers! |
Wow dude, that may actually be worth buying. I've been wanting to get a GameCube.
|
Hmm, I might actually get it, if I can find other GC games I'm interested in. When is/did that GC Golden Sun sequal come out?
|
Hasn't come out yet and Nintendo hasn't put a date on it. We haven't even been given any screenshots or gameplay info. Just the notice from Nintendo that it's coming eventually.
However, if RPGs are what you're looking for, pick the bundle up and grab Skies of Arcadia Legends and Tales of Symphonia. |
Well, I'd recommend the console for the Zelda games alone. Apparently Raziel loves Metroid Prime, which I'm not too big of a fan of, but that's just me. There are plenty of cool games for GC.

Metroid Prime is the shizit. MP2 will be the uber-shizit. I have scientific data to back that up.

That might be one of my xmas presents.
