Experience Exploit?

Alright, if this is old, give me a break, I just started on Sunday night after 8 months off mind you..

Read from the bottom up, obviously and let me know what you think? Any truth to this, or complete utter bullshit?

Ganga 2004-08-24 11:40 PM

Yes, that's true that leaving and joing back will get you more exp, but the part you don't get any exp with full 8 ppl in hell game part during second wave is bullshit.

Pekson 2004-08-25 02:36 AM

Actually you do get exp in 2nd wave even if partied with all 8. You get 1 exp with each skele kill and about 10k+ not sure guessing each raveler kill. But if with 7 peeps its diff.

Vollstrecker 2004-08-25 07:15 AM

Hmmmmm

I've never heard mention of this, but that doesn't mean much. ;)

Sovereign 2004-08-25 10:52 AM

Never heard of it. I'm probably to lazy to unparty and party up every game anyway.

Titusfied 2004-08-25 11:07 AM

Well, is it true that this only works if the highest member in the party leaves then rejoins, or can any member do so?

This is odd..

Ganga 2004-08-25 12:46 PM

any memeber can leave, it's just that if you are lvl 90, the first two wave you don't get any exp at all, and if you are a lvl 70, you still get some good exp.

blckshdwdragon 2004-08-25 01:01 PM

this is a myth, its just some stupid trick to get the highest level ppl to leave cuz they think they take all the EXP, in actuallity EXP is shared and ppl in the game ONLY affects the * to EXP modifier. its funny what noobs come up with. All you proof is in diabloii.net, ive read it ages ago.

Pekson 2004-08-25 08:13 PM

I agree with blckshdwdragon. Ive told ppl in baal games its just bs i kinda tested it myself being partied with 8 and 7 ppl and still the same exp.....1 exp for skeles and watver exp for ravelers kinda the same.

symnzXx 2004-08-26 03:56 PM

i heard a similar story about an experience exploit. the lowest level is supposed to leave though.

Medieval Bob 2004-08-26 05:26 PM

Not that I'm the most knowledgeable, but I've never heard anything about this.

Blackadder 2004-08-26 06:26 PM

I have never heard this either but I have jumped into games when its the third wave and it bad enough then trying to get people to party let alone leaving and asking them to party again.

Pekson 2004-08-26 06:36 PM

Its not the lowest level thats suppose to leave, it can be any level. People choose the lowest level to leave because its more fairer, well in which case in hardcore the higher levels do all the work and the lower levels just leech so its more fair.
