Campaign thread

Here's how it works, someone updates this by posting what the electorals are at the time of typing.

Currently:

Bush: 34 electorals known
Kerry: 3 electorals known.

PureRebel 2004-11-02 05:37 PM

MightyJoe 2004-11-02 05:54 PM

He's winning the popular vote so far.

KagomJack 2004-11-02 07:03 PM

Kerry currently has 77 electorals :/

I know I said I would vote Bush, then I said I would vote Nader. But I am to Kerry now...but anyway, I am sad to see what is happening so far =(

MightyJoe 2004-11-02 08:31 PM

193-133 or 136...something like that.

More interested in the Lakers game because the election is depressing me. I know Kerry has Cali, but just looking at the numbers is depressing.

wilma 2004-11-02 09:08 PM

Man I hope that one of them wins the popular vote but loses the election, again. Maybe then you'll all realize what a fucking idiotic system you use for voting.

Slim 2004-11-02 09:10 PM

It's highly possible to do. The electoral college isn't even bound to voting for who won their states popular vote. So kerry could technically "win" but then when the electors cast their votes Bush could still win the election. It kinda makes the whole voting for the president thing seem pointless in a way.

Sovereign 2004-11-02 09:11 PM

Just got a lot closer. California is starting to report in. Kerry is predicted to win that.

MightyJoe 2004-11-02 09:13 PM

Saw that coming, just like Bush won Texas. Any volls must have voted to give Kerry the win in Cali.

PureRebel 2004-11-02 09:24 PM

Vote Kerry or be hung by ur underpants!
