Southshore Raid Log - 1-20-2005
 

It was the late hours of the day. Most of my fellow dwarfs had long since hit the tavern to drink themselves to sleep. But tonight would not be a quiet night. Not by any means. In the area Dubbed the Hillsbrad Foothills, a mighty hord battalion was forming. The likes of which this little rouge has never seen. And then, it started. WIthin moments, the peaceful town of SouthShore turned into a blood bath.

The horde had made it to town! They were pilaging the very place where not to long ago, peaceful commerce was happening. The town was quickly getting nuked.

The alliance would not tolerate this action! Alliance members from all different races bound together and started to push the orcs, the undead, the tauren, and teh troll back. THis was no easy task by all means. Many died on BOTH sides.

The main horde attack force finally admitted defeat and retreated, leaving a few of their own soldiers behind.

All in all, this was a great victory for the alliance. We appeared to be slightly outnumbered, but it turned out not to matter! The battle is over, now its time to lick our wounds and dispose of the dead.

And then two or three level 60 Paladins Dwarves, drunk, wandered into Tarren Mill and leveled the town. The end.

Alliance outnumbered?... Oh wait yeah cus horde prolly had like 10 lvl 20s trying to level in hillsbrad and decided that instead of getting ganked by alliance constantly they would just participate in a raid.

By the way... It takes 2 kills for me and Sarc to start raising hell... We are then met promptly with 5-10 Aliiance.

Yeah, ok. Because lvl ?? to a lvl 30 rouge is really lvl 20, i Just cant see it. They were all high lvl.

The funny thing is on our server, Southshore is one of the only towns the Alliance rarely ever defends successfully.

Then again, Tarren Mill is razed every other night as well.

Now that I got Photoshop installed, I'll have to start taking Raid screenshots. :D

Too bad most of the raids here are about 50 or so alliance visiting our level 20-30 questing places.....the only raids I've seen them do have been on either Tarren Mill, Sun Rock Retreat, or Splintertree Post.

Eh, they've taken a liking to Freewind as well.

That, and the level 60 Rogues/Paladins camping Booty Bay. Then you add in the faggot high level Hunters on top of roofs/on the Ship's masts, and that makes Booty Bay a nightmare...

Or because I don't read dictionaries and rouge and rogue are words that I dont usually type out. no more spamming my thread! I need opinions. Did it suck, blow, good, bad, whatever.

I'd like to know why you weren't helping. Last raid that came to TM that I was at I was stunning the shit out of some level 58 pally to keep her off a hunter that was whacking on her.

I run a 1.5 ghz Pentium M laptop with integrated 64 mb Intel X-treme graphics 2. On top of this graphics card not being supported, it quite frankly is a piece of shit. Whenever I get near a large battle with all these area of effect spells going off, my computer damn well locks up. I just stand there and get slaughtered by a lvl 60 or something. There was never really any need for me to actually fight anyway. DIE was there and had no problem holding the town.

There was a southshore raid at about 230 am today, that lasted till about 450 am. I actually tried to participate in those. As expected, the computer simply could not keep up with the game. I managed to get a few hits off on people, and actually got the kill shot on a high lvl shaman, but other then that I was utterly useless.

My main lag problem is my damn ISP. Sometimes I can go through a HUGE raid with no problems, and sometimes I can't move when there are 10 people on the screen. Probably partially Blizzards shit servers too.

Lets meet up sometime, you and my 28 hunter. I'd be more than happy to kill you.
