Well guys being out here in the field Ive had alot of time to think and Ive come up with a cool idea, and Smith agrees with me to... a player reward system. Each month I will go over all the stats for the clan members and take in account how many clan matches they played and there performance and stuff and at the end of each month we will post various types of awards like 'most kills in the month of march' and similar stuff. Thats all great for bragin but the best one is that each month me and Smith will decide who to name the Player of the month and they will actually recieve a random item in the mail... coul be a magazine or a dvd or an action figure... depends on how generous i am. so what do you guys think about this plan? of course it wont start til we get back from the field but I think its great.

That is the single worst idea I have ever heard of! Hehe just messing. Ya a lot of time to think. No play-ee, just think-ee, no play-ee, just think-ee. Oh ya and DeLong wants you to know that masturbating too much can cause your vision to go out, and it can also make Jack a dull boy.

Which is why Smith wears glasses and I dont.... cus when I masturbate I tend to squirt it right in his eyes and without glasses it would be a... well a mess. ^^

On the contrary, with all the practice he gets from other soldiers, DeLong catches all of mine neatly in his mouth.

im so pissed right now tho i jsut got 3 kills in a game at midship i cant play well when im playing with shitty people who cant at least hold a couple of the good guns you know? like if the teams are balanced and stuff i can kick ass... but when they are better than us im probably even worse than the shitty people on my team

that does sound like a pretty good idea but it would be a pain tallying all those kills and stuff... im not sure what i good way to go about doing that would be or anything... plus some people have much more time to play than others so you might have to rig a system to do like "average kills per game" or something and set a limited number of games... like each person has to play at least a certain number to qualify for it... and only slayer games should count due to the fact that you could get an insane number of kills in king or something if you didnt try to get time or anything

I had a system drawn out in my head like what you were saying.

Certain number of games played in order to qualify
Certain number of clan games to. (or should I only count clan games?)
For each game type I tally points according to that game type. Example: On slayer I tally and average kills per game. On CTF I count the flag steals and flag saves and stuff like that, same with all the other game types.

Also I think I will just do weekly Awards each saturday night and at the end of the month we make Player of the Month who wins a free random item.

Help me think of weekly award names because I have no problem going through the records and finding out who won each awards.

Some weekly ones I thought of:
Most kills
Most consecutive wins
Most dedicated (person who played in most clan matches)
Sniper of the week
Carjacker of the week
and soo on... help us make a list.

how about gay of the week? i'd get that everytime! haha j/p that's a sweet idea, would smith and delong be eligible for the awards as well?

see the funny thing is he's serious...

that sounds like a fairly decent list... i'd add spree of the week to that list too... longest spree in a matchmade game

No we wouldnt be eligible cus we already know who would win.... me :haha:

you could have a kill to death ratio of the week or something along those lines as well

what do you guys think would be good prizes that would fit in with our clan?
I was thinking along the lines of Todd McFarlane action figures, dvd's such as Blood Gulch season 1, 2, or 3. Halo action figures and stuff like that.

yeah things like that would be cool... how much longer are you guys going to be in the field?... we also should have like a weekly practice where we can develop assault and CTF strats for each map... like develop a coordinated rush or something like that... that seems to be what most of the clans at the upper levels do

we get back on the 11th of this month

Nice, almost there then! I definitely think we need to practice assault rushes and defensive coordinations and whatnot. We keep getting owned, but if we actually had some sort of organization, we could own. :)

I feel the same way about practicing strategy, but I wasn't sure if anyone else cared that much. It's very seldom that we are all on together, and so when we are, everyone always wants to play Team Slayer or Clan Matches. IE: when I'm playing around in Zanzibar all the time, don't act like you don't see me in the custom game, that's me... alone hehe :rolleyes:

Ya, when I get back I've got... er have had some nice ideas for some maps. I don't now if you all have the patience to make run-throughs over and over and see who can get where and at what times with what weapons to see how we can best overcome the enemy, but if you do I'm sure it will help us out a lot in Clan Matches; Clan Matches being little different from Team Slayer, with strategy weighing more on the outcome of the battle.

Lastly, I had to post this face: o_O When I see that face I imagine someone who just recently had a smile on their face, and then shits their pants. Almost made me laugh out loud.

yeah smith i have some decent ideas for some organized rushes as well... we should definately work on a 3 and a 4 person organized rush... also i learned a neat trick on burial mounds with a warthog that if we could coordinate would work nicely

Nice, I wanna check out these strategies then. I most likely won't be on that much until next week, but I'm sure I'll be seeing you guys online when I am.
