:nerd: what do u guys think of the pp/rb combo

I don't really care, and only use it either (1) when other teams are using it, or (2) when we are getting our asses kicked due to a huge weapon mismatch.. :(

I don't know why people would hate it, since it is nothing more than another strategy to kill people. Only recently has everyone found out about it and started using it effectively. Oh, and not every board is optimal for it anyway.. That Bungie strategy of having groups of two working together using that combo is genius, and I'm sure will soon be overused as well..

i dont like it but i dont hate it ... i beat ppl that use it any way ..... i beat a guy 1vs1 with in on head to head ..... 10-0 lol owned him :fire:

Yeah, but doing that jump and duck act in the heat of battle is easier said than done. Maybe if you've actually played in the last year I'd agree, but..

If you beat a guy using it he probably was not that good. I would like to see you beat bill when he has a combo. Oh, wait you dont have you halo or your internet.

It's super easy to beat when there are corners and objects to jump behind. On Burial Mounds it is decent, Beaver Creek it owns, Lockout next to pointless, Coagulation sucks, etc.. Bill is pretty damn good at it though, I'll give you that.

he uses it ALL the time on lockout... on CTF games he terrorizes because he just sits on the lift ledge looking down over ... a lot of times i can get the flag all the way up the ramp and tossed up because he's awesome at covering me

hey tidus2005 stop being steveharris on here .... steve is good with it ... but i could beat him... another reason no one else uses it is b/c harris complains if he doesnt get it .....

I've been using it ever since I started playing Halo 2, I thought it was common knowledge that it could own people if they suck.

On beaver creek I just get up on one of the bases, watch out for people trying to grab sniper or rocket, and when someone walks next to base I jump down already charged up and gank them.

you'd be much better off not to jump down... just shoot them with plasma and its a very very easy headshot coming down on them... and it doesnt just own people who suck... it owns everyone =)

yeah but then you run into the problem that another guy could portal or spawn behind the base ur at and come around the corner before u can have your pistol charged again... if you were on the roof you could just back up and recharge while they are climbing up
