boot from disk?
 

I registered for 10 free ubuntu cd a couple of months ago and they finally came and they include a live CD that you can use to boot linux but your computer has to be set to boot from disk and i dont know how to set my computer to boot from disk.

You have to get into the bios settings. For my gateway, I just have to smash my f2 key.

lol ironically you dont have to smash it you only have to hit it once as the computer is booting up ;)

Meh, smashing it gives me something to do while it boots.

Be sure you know how to reinstall Windows because I'm pretty sure it's going back on there when you realize that linux sucks.
