Jaguars.

No activity down here anymore

nonetheless, Jaguars are doing very well this year. Actually Garrard just got put in and ran for a 16yd touchdown which was pretty impressive. Their playoff chances are much more legit than they have been in the last five years. Just wait, Superbowl? ^^

gruesomeBODY 2005-11-27 06:24 PM

byron has played a lot better. If only fred taylor was better then they might be superbowl hopefulles

Thanatos 2005-11-27 08:42 PM

There is no way Jacksonville is going to make it to the Superbowl. That means they would have to get by the home-field advantage Indianapolis Motherfucking Colts. And it looks like that's a hard thing to do at the moment.

I forget who said this but I heard it on TV the other day: "The Jaguars picked a bad year to get serious and play in the AFC South"

sue_13 2005-11-27 09:11 PM

Fred Taylor is a solid back when he is healthy, and that is never. Matt Jones has turned out to be a hell of a receiver and Leftwich has been solid all year. I think if you toss a solid rookie running back into that mix next year they will be solid. If I were them, I'd forfeit every game the rest of the way and draft Reggie Bush since he is the bigget freak of nature I've ever watched play. That'd put them right there next year.

For one, we played the colts in week 3 I believe, and got beat 10-3. Which wasn't much, it was a game of defenses. Now that our offense has been clicking recently, things may be a different story two weeks from now, IN JACKSONVILLE. Nonetheless the playoffs / Afc championship game, whoever it may be.

Fred Taylor has been out for basically 3 weeks now, and Greg Jones (former FSU RB turned fullback) bas been doing Great. Matt Jones is alright, but Ernest wilford and Jimmy are the main targets and probably will be throughout the rest of the year.

What sucks about Leftwich, he has been doing great. And now, he's hurt. He broke his ankle during today's game, and now he's out for a month. But we now get the versatile David Garrard (nigga got some speed) who can evade the rush alot better than Leftfoot. We'll see.

We have a VERY easy schedule ahead of, record wise I believe it's 2nd easiest (even though easy schedules don't mean much in the NFL, anything can happen).

All we can do is go week to week. Then again, we have beaten Cinci and Pittsburg, let'em have it Jags.

gruesomeBODY 2005-11-28 07:23 AM

even if they lost every game here on out, the 49ers or Jets would still have the draft pick over them. Reggie Bush is going to one of those teams for sure

Thanatos 2005-11-28 07:53 AM

That's a good thing the Jag's offense has been clicking recently. If you haven't noticed, so have the Colts'. The Jags can't keep up with the Colt's high-powered offense. The beginning of the season we had to rely on the defense to win games, but now that Peyton has found his rythm, there's no stopping him.

Watch tonight's MNF game and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Titusfied 2005-11-28 09:24 AM

Yeah, the Jags are underrated, but there is just too much power in the AFC for them to make a realistic run, especially with Indy kicking so much major ass! Damn you Thanatos!

sue_13 2005-11-28 09:53 AM

The Manning express is back on track.

Thanatos 2005-11-28 10:44 PM

Ahem. Anybody manage to catch tonight's MNF game? Can we say 11-0?

sue_13 2005-11-29 01:56 AM

I'm just worried about them benching players to rest for the playoffs once they clench homefield all the way.

Titusfied 2005-11-29 07:11 AM

Yeah, I was actually hoping for a loss so that wouldn't happen in my fantasy leagues.. Damnit.. Hopefully Dungy will get greedy, play all his players to get the 16-0 mark, then Harrison, Peyton, and Edge all break their legs on the same play..

gruesomeBODY 2005-11-29 07:23 AM

that would be awesome. i would laugh so hard ....

Titusfied 2005-11-29 12:02 PM

Me too! Then I'd cry in a corner when I remembered that my Eagles aren't even in the playoffs.. :( :(

I don't know about that. Yeah, Dungy says he may rest them but deep down, I think he's a glory hog. :D

Let's go 16-0!

That Jaguars can easily keep up with their offense, because they can't shit on our defense. We're 6th overall, 1st in pass defense and like 8th in run defense. Peyton is overrated, all that yelling he does before the plays, it's all just bullshit to make it seem like he's doing somethign else.

It's alrigh though, I'm putting it ALL on the line for 2 weeks from now when the Colts play the Jags at home. Which I should be at watching. Undefeated no more assholes.

TO WHO? Hahaha. You guys owned yourself. What he said wasn't that bad. But yet, he kept goign and going or whatever so that's why he's been booted.

And how about the Madden curse? See ya later McNabb.

gruesomeBODY 2005-11-29 05:45 PM

just to let everyone know, Dungy went on record today saying that he would rest his players when they gain homefield advantage. Sorry, but i think the 16-0 will be broken. I also think that they have the best chance to win a superbowl. I really dont see to many teams keeping up with them. Maybe just the SD Chargers, Giants and Jags. But first, all 3 of those teams need to get into the playoffs. It comes down to high scoring or amazing defense to beat the colts. If teams watched the Pats beat them last year, then they might learn something

sue_13 2005-11-29 06:44 PM

Last year the Colts didn't know the meaning of Defense.

Yes, yes, it should be a good game but I don't see the Colts losing it. All I heard before the Steelers/Colts game was, "The Steelers have such a great defense! They haven't allowed a 100-yard rusher in 22 straight games! Etc! Etc!" and did you see what happened? Edge made it look easy and ran 124 yards. Peyton made it look easy with the Colt's FIRST OFFENSIVE PLAY with a 80-yard TD to who? Marvin Motherfucking Harrison. Sorry, d3v, the Jags may be good but they're no contest for the Colts.

Look at the bold text you wrote above. Are you serious? Peyton has a sixth sense when it comes to detecting blitzes, mismatches, etc. He's been called the smartest person in the game many, many times. How can you call the single-season pass TD record holder overrated?
