Please help

Could someone please help me out? Ever since I cut and pasted thr directory rpg2003 from C:\ to D:\, the program itself is malfuctioning. Please, someone help, I'm in the middle of the game development and I'm the only maker.

As I said, it worked flawlessly untill I cut it and paste it into another drive. From then, two things are always happening:

1. It wont make a new project in any directory. If I click on the "New project" button, it says exactly "Project creation could not be completed." If I wait a while, and then click on tileset window, it says exactly
"Assertion failure (D:\ha\02rpg2000\2003\RPG_RT\GR_ChipSet.pas, 489 line)".

2. When I open my old project, or any existing project, I make a new map, but it doesnt get saved, even though I clicked "Yes" when it says do I want to save my progress. When I try to click on it, go to "Map-Save changes made to map", it says exactly "The file C:\DOCUME~1\x\LOCALS~1\Temp\RPG_TEMP\Map0004.lmu cannot be created." and it says the same whenever I try to switch maps after that.

In brief, I cant make new projects, or edit the old ones, so I cant do nothing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling at least a few dozen of times, with a lot of versions, but it didnt work.
I Googled this problem, but only two of them seems to have it except me, and they havent been answered.
The old path where RM2K3 was is C:\rpg2003, and it worked there. These problems started when I moved it for space on C to D:\Program Files\rpg2003.
Please help me if someone can.

Well, when you copid and pasted it from one directory to another, you fucked up the files. The registry and such were set to C:\

You never copy and paste a program to a new directory. Uniinstall and delete all RPG Maker folders(copy your project to the desktop) and then clean install everything to the D:\ drive adn then put your game in the projects folder.

When uninstalling, if it asks to remove any information, do so. If it asks to keep any information, don't.

So never copy and paste a program anywheres, even if its just up/down one folder. A computer can not comprehend it, it thinks things do not exist any more.

Also make sure to delete the old shortcuts and such.

This is the only way it can work again, learn from your mistakes man.

Its ok, I found the solution. A guy from another forum gave me the solution, its working now. I entered the Temp folder, and I found that the folder RPG_TEMP was corrupted somhow. I deleted it, made a new folder, and.... voila!

Well, thanks anyways.

But yea, for future reference you shouldn't move programs around, it can cause major problems if its more comp,ex then one corrupt file.

Nice to see it solved though. I would also like to play your teams game when its developed enough man. Keep us posted.
