My Game...

Hey if anyone wants to, they can team up with me on my game, Because I'm sorta new to coding and mucking with the Battle system. I'm using RMXP: Postality Knights V.2 Enhanced. Anyone who wants to help otherwise (I've got some voice acting to be done) Is welcome!
Visit my site Here!
(Mnnn...Its newish, so I might have to update some things since this post...)

I'll even invite newbies like mehself to help!

I could do voice acting if you want.

Too many times in the past, I would work with people over the net and the project always fell apart because people have different idea's or someone doesn't want to do all kinds of coding and such.

I'll be happy to voice act, test out gameplay and little things like that, but I can't do major scritping and such any more. Too many dropped projects have discarouged me from that much work for no reason. Sorry there.

I hope you keep it up though!

okay, sure! send me some examples by e-mail, and to get an idea of what kind of stuff, go to my site and see the Voice Acting paragraph under Music

So, do you just want me to record some examples of what could be said for what you have listed?

Atnas 2006-05-28 06:15 PM

Yeah that'd be good. I have 3 char's right now that are in the game, but I'm thinking of adding more in a reserve party. That way, if you don't fit one of those characters, I could always use your voice to build up a personality for that character.

The reason my project fell apart was because I couldnt get the project off my computer and onto the internet. And now that I have the ability to because of a new computer I CAN'T USE PROGRAMS LIKE RM2K3 or XP!!! GRR!!!

But, I'm good. I can use Flash MX 2004. Wierd huh?

We weren't doing too badly, were we?

We had a basic plot, we had some horrifically drawn maps (I'll own up to it), we had a basic game system.

Mmm. Yeah, that could be a problem, so I'll rephrase my statement: anyone who would like to contribute to my game (Voice acting, futuristic tile sets, etc.) will be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone has some coding tips...Please share! I know Ruby is one of the more basic languages around, with an easy to understand object references, I'm still new at it, so.... I'd greatly appreciate any help. A game from the people is a game for the people! Or a great and terrible disaster to be known throughout the game making community... I hope it won't come to that. Thank you!

email me for Q's & C's

I'll upload some voice samples once I get my mic back from a friends within the next few days.

I don't know Ruby, I never really gave RMXP much of a chance either.

Are you proficient with ActionScript 2.0?

Lenny 2006-05-31 04:04 AM

:p Chruser out on his Recruitment drive.

If you need anything done with dynamic text boxes being filled with writing from a .txt document, then I can do that. :)

It doesn't look that hard to learn.

Anyone know any places that I could find a chrono trigger type cbs script? I just wanna test it out and see if it'll fit nicely into my game.
