Randomly ordered episodes?!?!
So I watched The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya today, and noticed that if you pay attention to Haruhi herself, she states that the correct order for the episodes is:
2,3,5,10,13,14,4,7,6,8,1,12,11,9 If you watch them in that order, you'll find that that is indeed the real order for the episodes... So why would they randomize them like that in the first place? |
To be "clever" and "interesting"
And you fell for it |
A lot of people fall for that act with me, too.
|
How did it end by the way?
It's only a matter of time before a region 1 license is announced. Wanna know if it's worth putting on the list of shit to buy. |
Oh, and it's been licenced. I forget by who, but they(the licencee) showed it at Otakon. |
The real chornological ending is...
|
In you sig I see two boobs.
|
It was pre-licensed before it aired, IIRC. I think Geneon had it.
|
Either way, the second part based on the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya is already in production. 5~6 Episodes
|
Well, I've come to find that the happenings in the novels are randomly ordered, too, though they don't stop in the middle of something and come back like the anime does, so far.
|
So basically we have a good ole universe reset?
Blah :cries: |
No, not a reset, just cancelling a step out. The novels are better than the anime, BTW, though not by a lot.
The Sighs of Suzumiya Haruhi (the second novel) is basically about the shooting of the (raw) movie that appears in the first episode. So much crazy stuff happens that is only hinted at in the anime... |
Are you reading a translated copy or have you picked up Japanese?
|
I'm reading a translation. Working on the Japanese, though.
