If you WON the Lottery...?

I've been wanting to strike it rich more and more lately, as I'm sure, EVERYONE in the world is. But let's say you Hit it big, something around 30-50 Million, how would you spend it..? Would you go conventional and buy a house cars, etc, and just settle down.

How would you invest your money? Would you get massive stocks? Invest in bonds? If anything?

Myself personally, I'd take a portion of my money and invest it in the stock market, that's an easy one. Another thing I would do is open a few companies that I could profit off of, possibly a construction company and a real estate company, two companies that are NEVER going to lose business and have the alltime opportunity to grow and expand with exponentional growth..

There's always the option of buying a tiny tropical island in the middle of no-where and building from the ground up, but I don't think anyone around here is crazy enough to do something like that..

But what about you guys?

I'd pay my way through college, get out of Computer Engineering and switch into physics, and buy a motorcycle.

I would keep a couple hundred gs in the bank for instant access and invest the rest of it, withdrawing as needed.

First off, I'd need to win the Euromillions jackpot - the National Lottery Jackpot in England is only a few million.

But once I've got the money I'd buy a lot of gadgets, books, a professional Trumpet, build a brilliant computer, and build my dream house. Buy a few more things, and stick whatever's left in the bank for later.

And I'd be able to get through University without having to take out any loans and being in debt for most of my adult life, then.

I'd pay off my debts, create a substantial retirement fund for my parents, buy a new car, buy property and begin building a house complete with high-tech security/surveillance equipment, an observatory, and a sweet bunker-basement. The rest would go into investments of various sorts: stocks, enterprise, etc. I'd probably open my own production company and begin making the greatest zombie film the world has ever seen.

Pay for college, set half of it in high interest accounts, sit on it for awhile until I'm done with schooling. Then I'd go buy a nice house in the mountains of CO, get a bunch of marijuana, food, booze, and just escape life for awhile. Oh, and help out some of my good friends get through college. Actually, with all the interest I'd be getting, I could afford not to go to college, but I would still go.

Ah yes, like you guys I left out mentioning finishing up school, that's a must. If i'm going to have all of this money, having an education makes it much more useful, unlike the Paris Hilton types..

If I put $25 Million into CD accounts that would open yearly, with $100,000 in each one at a 4% rate, I'd have roughly $1,000,000 a year. Hopefully that would work out how I calculated it, but I'm not sure how often the interest is compounded.

I"d buy a hugest diamond you've ever seen. Then gnaw on it till it turns into little snortable dusts.

Not a whole lot that I'd do different than was has already been mentioned (excluding kaos' diamond fantasy, wtf).

I'd likely get a few buddies together who would be interested and work on making a few video games based on some ideas we'd had. Who knows after that?

Develop Diablo 3 and 4!!!

Put it in CDs, retire, and move to Japan.
