That's a tasing right there. He's a serious threat with a scanner gun. Those things can cause blindness with prolonged exposure to the eyes!

I did that at McDonalds once. The clerk looked dumbfounded. It went something like "uhh, uhh, let me get a manager." I found it amusing.

Saw a picture of the guy on the news tonight. "Remotely sane" wasn't the description that came to mind.
