Scientology gets BelAir'd
|
And RickRoll'd:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHpjcZNM8_k Both at Tottenham Court Road in London, on the 10th February protest. Just to sum it up neatly: http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/2...6100024xy5.jpg The next protest is on the 12th April (worldwide, as always). |
I'm going to a rally in Jacksonville, actually I received a message on myspace about it, there's roughly going to be able 400 people there apparently, (I don't know why because we don't have any scientologist places around here that I know of)
|
LMAO. That picture is hilarious.
This whole situation cracks me the fuck up. This is comedic gold. |
Doesn't mean there aren't any. For example I didn't know there was a building in London until the Feb 10th protest, and then I found out there were a number of them. And around the time of the March 15th protest, I found out there was a Scientology building in Manchester!
|
Wow, that's crazy. I've been reading more and more about Scientology and am realizing that it really in fact does have the characteristics of a cult. It's bazarre that this could've been swept under the rug for so long.

A blog post detailing the happenings at the February 10th protest(s) in London. It's hilarious. EDIT: Just found out that the London protest on Feb 10th was the largest, with 1000 protestors at one point (with Los Angeles second, clocking in at 500), and the London protest on March 15th was also the largest (650) with Los Angeles once again coming in second (600). |
AHH! Blocked at work, i'll definately have to check that out when I get home.
|
lol @ one of the signs.
"DOWN WITH THIS SORT OF THING" |
If anyone wants to read up more on the protests and the reasons behind them, then have a look at:

"On March 15, 2008, a womens basketball game at Eastern Washington University was rickrolled."
LOL! A fucking basketball game got RickRoll'd. This shit is hilarious. |
yeah actually, I was going to post that earlier and figured it was a re-post. Funny shit though.
|
They did it for the lulz.
Faggot cops arrested some of them in one of the protests. |
Ah, but not in England. For we English have peaceful protests in this day and age. :p
I think it was a few people in Toronto that were arrested, was it? |
I actually went to a local protest here, but got there late. This was a few weeks ago, though. I even met up with another /b/tard and a couple of his friends.
|
I was hoping to go to the March 15th one in Manchester, if only to say I'd been part of it (and to join in with the internet chants), but I couldn't make it, and nor could I find a V mask. :(
|
Where the heck do you get those anyway? I want one..
|
Those do look sweet, i'd say ebay. I'm really considering going to the next protest.
|
I wonder if they have any around the Indianapolis area. Any way to find out the upcoming events?
