Is our Children Learning part IV
The center of the Earth is very hot. True or false?
True.
True.
It was tough but I said true.
78% correct.
I'll say false I don't really know about the hot center for sure. Maybe not as hot as they say.
Hot is a relative term.
Hotter than our surface, yes. I'm pretty sure there's volcanic shit between the center and the surface, but I may be wrong.

Yeah that's what I meant, like it's how our planet was formed too? A very hot rock that originated from the big bang that collectively formed with other space debris and so-on and as the out-shell was made in turn created a perfect enviorment where organisms could grow and yada yada yada
instead of the Earth forming as a result of the Big Bang, it formed (all following the same theory of the Big Bang) after the sun was created by the collection of mater that was left over from the Big Bang around our sun and then these materials became planets.
Actually, IIRC the center is a solid core, which is surrounded by a molten section. The pressure is supposed to be so great that the metal is solid even at that temperature.
We all have our ideas about what it is like.
I now think that that is where all the dinosaurs are. They live down there and there is a second sun in the middle of the earth just for them. |
:haha:
You do realize that humans actually know for fact what is at the core, and are not just making a hypothesis?
In my arm there are little gnomes which help me shoot out of my fingerspewpew :haha: |
The core of the earth is almost as hot as me.
