Help, please! Unsupported PNG Image!
1 Attachment(s)
Yes, i have read other topics. I've done everything they say to fix it, yet it doesn't. It still says Unsupported PNG Image.
I'm trying to put in these mario rpg sprites. I've: -Converted to 256 -Saved as PNG in MSPaint -Other stuff, resized it. -etc. HELP! (The program im using is RPG Maker 2003.) |
I don't think the program supports PNGs at all. Try saving it instead as a BMP in Paint.
I think you may also need to change the way the sprite set is laid out (four rows of three, rather than two of six). If I remember correctly, the order the sprite faces in the rows are: Down, Left, Up, Right. If not, then it's Down, Right, Up, Left. |
Argh! i fix the positioning and all, its BMP and the color is 256.
Alright everything should go smoothly.. and then this is what pops - up: 'Invalid Color Depth' I check it with Gimp, and it should be RIGHT. WHATS WRONG. AAAAAAARGH. |

The color depth has to be 8-bit. |
I suggest using a program like Idraw3 for RPGMaker graphics. It always works in 256 colors.
