Anyone know anything about lasers?
1 Attachment(s)
I acquired a 150mW 405nm Blu-ray Blue-Violet Laser Diode Module, which is very high powered and can burn through paper/melt plastic etc.
That sounds cool and all, but I have no idea how to power it. I've been looking online but it seems to be a foreign language to me. Anyway, if anyone knows anything about laser diode modules, let me know! Picture: |

if you go and find a HD DVD drive somewhere (they are really cheap since no one uses them) you can remove the high powered laser from it and make your own laser via instructions on internet
That is probally the cheapest way to get a laser that can pop ballons from a great distance. the most powerful lasers are the infared lasers, but you gotta be careful because you cant see the beam without night vision and you could unintentionally destroy someones eyes |
