i am personally getting ripped off for internet ... 512 kb line for 40 dollars a month

Why not change to a different provider?

So all of your friends/people you know are also on it?

Atleast your provider doesn't kill your internet connection and say it's "interfeerence"

My internet provider is a bunch of dicks..
Turns out, the modem I got was defective... and the company new about it... a year ago...
My warranty expired about a week ago...
and it finally breaks down completely.

Luckily, after bitching them out, I got a new modem, that works twice as good, for free. :D

The general rule of thumb is that if you want something out of your ISP, ring up and tell them you're thinking of leaving to go to another service provider. More often than not, they'll upgrade your service or give you something to make you stay.

Same works with television - we've been leaving Sky for years. ;)
