Once again.. Another Science Question

Hehe... Look closely at the choices.

WetWired 2002-08-16 02:53 PM

Duh. Sputnik (SPOOT neek) (CPyTH|/|K (in the closest approximation of cyrilic I can get in non-cyrilic characters) in Russian) is a Soviet Satelite (and the first in the Sputnik series of satelites) that was put in low oribit and circled the globe many times, broadcasting it's tracking beacon. I don't remember if it did anything else.

Everyone already knew that

BMS-IcE- 2002-08-16 04:37 PM

Wetwired is right but who ever chose the first option is WRONG. :P Take the look at the spelling. HEhe I purposly spelled satelite wrong. :P So the right answer is "None of the above"

Majere 2002-08-16 07:53 PM

no ur a WRONG cause the correct spelling satellite

"CRØNîC-KîLLå" 2002-08-16 11:34 PM

is this question for the first thing ever to enter the orbit of the earth or been sent to it or whatever? if it is the answer is: a dog.... because the russians sent a dog to space but they were dumbasses and forgot to goldplate the craft so the dog came back dead from electricution or something

Sirpullido 2002-08-17 07:16 AM

the dog was Laika, not sputnik

BMS-IcE- 2002-08-17 10:34 PM

Sputnik is a bloody russian satellite... =\

Sirpullido 2002-08-18 09:02 AM

We already knew that, i was now talking about the dog Russians send to space, Laika

He's right... that was WAY too goddamned easy... you should try asking who manned it... maybe two people will get it wrong this time.

BlueCube 2002-08-19 01:27 AM

It seems that two people already did...

Strider Fury 2002-08-19 01:53 AM

BlueCube 2002-08-19 04:28 PM

Ahh, I see... Though, a McSputnik burger might not be out of the question.

NonGayMan 2002-08-19 06:10 PM
