um, actually when a GF dies, u cant summon it for THAT battle... but after the battle ends, ur GF will gain 1 hp and you would be able to use them again but when it dies in one battle, for the rest of the battle u wont be able to summon it and it cant get ANY exp. There is no way of reviving a GF in a battle.
