you have to flare right before you hit... it doesnt make a crunch if you dont.. i just passed it, took me like 5 trys just to get in the circle but i hit the flare button about 3 or 4 seconds before hitting the ground

Just hold down on E about 4 feet or 5 feet before hitting the ground DO NOT LET GO OF E and dont hit it too early or too late
