I've played FF8 up to the last hour or so of the game, and I got sick of it. Squall is a COMPLETELY UNLIKEABLE character, the story is fragmented and badly written, and the world it takes place on is bland and poorly designed. I don't give a rats ass about battle strategies and which summon is the most effective in a fight. I play the game for the characters, the story, and the art. FF8 was SORELY lacking in all three areas.

My "400 billion HP comment" was sarcasm, dude. Calm down.

And FF7's story flaws are due to an EXESSIVLY POOR translation. FF8's story flaws are due to EXESSIVELY BAD writing.
