Pain and dopamine

The day started off with myself working out quite a bit, although not feeling very well. I had a cold, so maybe I went a bit overboard.

Anyway, I had a headache that severely increased during the day, and it was so bad I went to bed and got a bit of sleep, just before I woke up at about 6 pm again. Two to three hours of sleep... Hmm, seems like my ideal time to spend on sleep during the night.

So right now, I'm sitting here in front of my computer although my headache, which is quite possibly the worst one I've ever experienced, makes me want to lie down and scream in agony. Now, the thing is that the endorphines from the
intense workout session are likely taking up quite a portion of my blood. I'm very, very high on them, it seems. So while I'm in severe pain, I still feel so calm about everything. I don't even despise the horrid pain, I just welcome it.

Living can be such a joy ride at times...
