Simple Simple. You can write text interaction games with qbasic.. they suck, but you can.

Adding skill/stats/level ups/etc would be more in depth, but I'm sure no big deal.. multiplayer would be a little different.

But if your gonna do that, why not go farther and include pictures or something? It'd make things alot more intersting.
