Instead of moving on a island.

Go live in the woods near a lake for a few months. You can hunt/fish to survive. But dont bring high tech shit a normal fishing rod, a bow,hatchet ,lighter and a tent or no tent if you wanna build something yourself ! Cool test of survival. And trust me when you get very hungry your aim whit a bow is much better !

P.S.Try not to make animal suffer to much before it die for some reason when an animal is stressed at death the meat aint as good. Alsol getting used to make living thing suffer for a month or two could be bad ! Who know what kind of fools you would start to chasse whit a bow when your back in town.
