Just forget about it. The situation will never change. She might even act like she has become interested in you, but it will be complete bullshit. She'll start to get friendly with you once you start seeing someone else. Then, if you try to dump the other chick and start something with the "friend," she'll conveniently lose all interest she briefly had in you, leaving you alone, pissed off and stewing with the knowledge that your current miserable situation is all your fault. Just leave it alone. Don't make any advances, don't try anything stupid, just leave her alone. All she will do is torment you every waking second of every day.
