I saw something like that on discovery channel once.

Some of the fish have worms inside of them. Because sushi is raw the fish u eat still have the worms inside of u, and start growing and multiplying. The thing they do is, that they eat there way through ur stomach (very painfull ). However this almost only happens in Japan where the fish is fresh from the sea, and not frozen in or anything.
