Well, first of all, it's "debacle" not "debockle".

Second, I had no idea that there were two ways to spell "aneurysm".

Thirdly, I can't honestly recall any other words along that same vein. I'm sure if it wasn't almost 6am here, I'd be much more apt to think of one.

My only answer for "why" would be because the english language is pretty fucked up sometimes.
