Alright, I'm going to get this going a little faster.

Max has his work cut out for him. I've never played Symphony of the Night, but I can already see that Alucard is a certified badass.

Spells - All of these spells consume MP, listed from lowest to highest rate of MP consumption.

Dark Metamorphosis - While the spell is active, any time Alucard strikes an opponent that bleeds, and he makes contact with the blood in any fashion, he regains health.

Wing Smash - While in bat form, executes a ramming attack.

Wolf Charge - While in wolf form, executes a rushing attack.

Hellfire - Alucard can instantly teleport from one end of the screen (let's say something like 20 feet) and launch a fireball salvo at his opponent.

Summon Spirit - Alucard can summon an ethereal spirit to home in and attack one target.

Tetra Spirit - Same as before, only with four spirits instead of one.

Soul Steal - Drains life from enemies.

Familiars - These are various supernatural creatures that Alucard can assign to assist him in his actions.

Faerie Familiar: When she's active, she will administer potions and medicine to Alucard as needed.

Demon Familiar: The demon's most practical use is to press the switches in the Abandoned Mine and the Cave. Otherwise it will use different elemental attacks, depending on its level.

Bat Familiar: Occasionally swoops on enemies. At its level rises, so does the damage it causes. Also, if Alucard morphs into a Bat, the familiar will summon other bats to fly alongside Alucard. These extra bats function like Options in Gradius: if you fire, so will they. The number of "Options" you get depends on the level of the Bat Familiar.

Ghost Familiar: It homes in on enemies and does a weak attack. When it gets to a high enough level, it will Soul Steal enemies.

Sword Familiar: Probably the most powerful Familiar. It will do various swooping and slashing attacks which increase in both frequency and power as the Familiar gains levels. It also allows you to do the Sword Brothers spell.

Aside from that, I know he's capable of transforming into a bat, a wolf and mist. I, however, can't seem to find a single walkthrough where the author took the time to actually explain the benefits of those transformations.

By the way, Titus, here's a much better pic of Alucard. That one you've got up is pretty damned fugly.
