Kristy explained to me that she had been thinking about and wanting to get back together with me for a couple of weeks. She said that she had realized that she wanted our relationship to work. She knew that she loved me and that she would never find a better guy than me. (I'm probably phrasing that wrong, but... regardless...)

I knew that we had a great relationship in the past and that I never wanted to break up in the first place. I knew that I would regret it forever if I didn't give our "us" another chance. I'm overjoyed that I did.
