can you give me an example of this paradox?

it seems to me that the dictionary meaning of idiot is

#1 one who knows little or has a simple mind
#2 one with few resources <---------- lookie
#3 *A person of profound mental retardation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers.
